PushBlack — the nation’s largest, nonprofit Black media company has amassed a substantial following, serving nearly 9 million people across all their platforms! So when it came time to translate their editorial vision into the audio space, I was excited to help bring their vision to life.

Working with the teams at Limina House and PushBlack, we launched launch their flagship podcast, Black History Year in May of 2020. Our initial pilot season offered PushBlack fans 6 episodes featuring strong historical narratives and expert interviews designed to highlight little known Black history and reframe current events. Featuring guest interviews with Kerry Washington, Gabrielle Union, Dr. Brandon Byrd and many more!
