As executive producer of A Little Forward, I helped bring Freeform’s signature voice to the world of audio storytelling. I pitched the original concept to the network as a way to extend their brand into the podcast space—and partnered with Pineapple Street Media to help bring the series to life.

Hosted by comedians, writers and cultural commentators Jenny Yang and April Quioh, A Little Forward is a smart, sharp-tongued audio series about navigating adulthood in all its messy, magical glory. From therapy breakthroughs to career pivots to figuring out who you are outside of your family’s expectations, the show meets listeners right in that in-between space of becoming.

I led development and production from concept to launch—working closely with Freeform and the team at Pineapple Street to shape the show's format, guide editorial direction, and ensure every episode struck the right balance of humor, heart, and cultural relevance. Together, we created a show that felt like part pep talk, part group chat, and entirely in sync with Freeform’s on-screen storytelling.
